Brother Tim Lavender is our involvement and seniors minister. We love our seniors and invite you to be a part of our Young at Heart group. The Smyrna Church of Christ Young at Heart has been organized since 1995. The purpose of the group is to provide a way for those who are over 55 to get together and do a few things. Fellowship and love for one another is the top priority. We go somewhere or do something once each month and would be glad for other Christians to join us. 2019 Schedule

April 12, Friday Evening at 6:30 p.m. – Lamplighter’s Theater in Smyrna
The Curious Savage – Ethel P. Savage was recently widowed by her millionaire husband who left her in charge of a fortune. She would like to spend it to make people happy. Her adult step children, which includes a Senator, a Judge, and a Socialite have other ideas and endeavor to have her declared incompetent. The play takes place in The Cloisters sanatorium, and while there Ethel meets a collection of inmates who seem to have a better grasp of what it means to be sane than those on the outside. Ethel turns out to be pretty clever herself. It is a comedy but has elements of mystery and a clever surprise ending. – The theatre opens at 7:00; $12.00 at the door. Call the church office to sign up. April 21-28 Trip to Azores Island
