Our purpose as men of the congregation is to learn to love deeper, encourage, uplift, teach, and mentor not only each other but also the younger men who will soon take over the leadership of this world. To accomplish this, we offer:
Spiritual Growth
Men’s Retreats
Every year our men take time to get away from the routine of life to focus on Bible study and encouraging one another at our annual Men’s Retreat. This retreat often includes board/card games, fishing, and other activities that are designed to give men of all ages an opportunity to get to know one another better.
Men’s Wednesday Morning Bible Study
From September until May, the men meet for a Bible Study. A friendly, laid-back class, where friends and brothers meet to discuss God’s Word and how we can improve our lives.
Grow in Fellowship
Fish Fry
Our annual fish fry that has been going on for over 20 years, is a time of good food and good fellowship. Some of the men gather together and cook the fish, hushpuppies, and french-fries while others make the fellowship hall ready to seat over 300 people. It’s an all-day affair of laughing, joking, and bonding!!
Grow in Service
We help our members and also members of our community by mowing grass, cutting limbs, gutter cleaning, and much more.
