We advertise in the WW booklet, receive about 75 names and addresses of Newcomers monthly and send them invitation letters to visit SCOC.

Vacation Bible School
We offer Vacation Bible school for children 4 years old to 6th grade. Vacation Bible School is offered in the summer each year on a Sunday through Wednesday, 6:30p – 8:30p. We use unique themes to bring the Bible to life with stories, crafts, snacks, and activities. VBS is free and open to everyone. You can register for VBS each year at SmyrnaVBS.org Contact: Kris Waldron

Friends & Family Day / Contact: Tim Lavender

Smyrna Depot DayContact: Danny Wells
This event draws thousands to the heart of Smyrna so we set up an attractive tent display, greet folks, handout church activity materials and invite them to our services.

A big part of our Spreading Joy In Smyrna campaign is teaching students in Smyrna and around the world through the World Bible School program. This is a 6 course, 54 lesson study of the Bible presented in an easy to understand, but in-depth way.

The Courses Are:

• God Has Spoken
• This is Good News
• Knowing Jesus
• Born of Water & Spirit
• The Family of God
• Live a Life of Love

If you want to study the Bible at your own pace in the privacy of your own home on the computer, it is easy to get started. Just click here and you will easily find the information you need.

You’ll enjoy the study and at some point you may want to become a teacher and study with your friends, children and grandchildren.
